What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. We use these to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and operate SherpaPost safely.
Categories we use
Strictly necessary — required to run SherpaPost: authentication tokens (Supabase), session cookies, CSRF protection, and your cookie consent choice. These cannot be turned off.
Preferences — remember small settings like your last-used format preset or active platform tab.
Payments — when you open the checkout, Stripe sets cookies it needs to process the payment securely.
Analytics (optional) — if and when enabled, used to understand aggregate usage so we can improve the product. Set only with your consent.

Managing cookies
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time by clearing site data for sherpapost.app in your browser, which will re-show the banner. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings — note that blocking essential cookies will break sign-in.
Third parties
Some essential cookies are set by our processors (Supabase for auth, Stripe for payments) on our behalf. They process data per their own privacy notices.
